- Created Furnace Work Tube (part): "Holds the sample and the gas atmosphere inside the tube furnace and is replaced when it cracks or devitrifies. Outer diameter and length matched to the furnace and flanges, in fused quartz for runs up to about 1100 °C or alumina of at least 99% purity above that."
