- Created Magnesium and Boron Powders (part): "Supplies the elements for MgB2 (Tc 39 K), reacted at about 650 to 900 °C in argon or a sealed metal tube because magnesium vapor attacks bare quartz. Buy magnesium of 99.8% at -325 mesh and amorphous boron of 95% or better at micron size or finer, because boron purity and particle size limit MgB2 quality."
