- Created Gripper Cylinder (part): "One large double-rod hydraulic cylinder across the gripper carrier that pushes both gripper shoes out against the tunnel walls and pulls them back. Because it floats in the carrier, the main beam can be shifted sideways against the clamped shoes to steer. Its pressure is set to suit the strength of the rock."
