- Created Laser Guidance System (assembly): "A motorized total station on the tunnel wall behind the machine measures a target unit on the machine, and the guidance computer compares the result with the tunnel's design line and shows the operator the deviation and the steering correction. Surveyors move the station forward as the tunnel advances."
