Jet Dyeing Machine Product
Overview
A jet dyeing machine colours fabric in rope form inside a sealed pressure vessel. Working above the boiling point of water, at up to 140 °C, lets it dye polyester and other synthetics whose fibres only open to disperse dyes at high temperature. The fabric is sewn into a continuous loop and circulated endlessly through a dye bath while the machine ramps temperature, doses dye and auxiliaries, and finally rinses, all to a stored recipe.
The defining feature is the jet itself. Rather than dragging fabric mechanically, the machine pumps dye liquor through a nozzle that hauls the rope along on the flow. The fabric stays relaxed and crease-free, and the liquor is forced through the cloth at every pass, which gives level, fully penetrated colour with a low liquor ratio and so less water, energy and dye.
How it works
The fabric loop sits inside the Pressure Vessel & Lid, a 316L pressure shell closed by an interlocked lid. The rope piles in a curved storage tube and is pulled out and round in a loop. Driving that loop is the Circulation Pump, a high-flow centrifugal pump that draws liquor from the vessel base and forces it onward at high volume.
The pumped liquor reaches the Jet Nozzle & Winch. A venturi Jet Nozzle accelerates the stream around the rope, dragging it forward and driving dye into the cloth, while a winch reel lifts and turns the fabric so it re-enters the storage tube evenly. Each complete pass exposes the whole length of fabric to the same bath conditions, which is what makes the dyeing level.
Before returning to the vessel the liquor passes the Heat Exchanger, a tube bundle fed with steam or chilled water and backed by Heating Element trim heaters. The controller ramps and holds temperature through this exchanger to follow the disperse-dye profile. Colour and chemistry come from the Dosing System system, where metering pumps and valves inject dissolved dye and auxiliaries on schedule. Overseeing everything is the Process Control cabinet: an operator loads a recipe on the touchscreen, and the controller drives pump speed, dosing and temperature while reading the Pressure Sensor and liquor probes. Liquor moves between units through the Liquor Piping, whose valves switch the circuit between dyeing, draining and rinsing at each step of the cycle.
