Facial Steamer Product
Overview
The facial steamer is a benchtop personal-care appliance that turns plain water into a fine, warm nano-ionic mist aimed at the face. Warm steam opens pores, loosens dirt and oil, and softens the skin ahead of cleansing or a mask. "Nano-ionic" means the water is broken into very small, electrically charged droplets, which carry more easily to the skin and feel finer than the coarse steam of a boiling kettle.
Water sits in a removable Water Tank Assembly with a sealed fill cap and a level window so the user can see how much is left. The reservoir, boiler and electronics are carried by the molded Housing & Base, and rubber feet keep the unit stable on a counter. Mist leaves through an angled Nozzle & Steam Outlet so it can be pointed comfortably at the face from a short distance.
How it works
When the Power Switch is pressed, the Control Assembly powers the boiler. Inside the Boiler & Atomizer Assembly, a stainless boiling chamber holds a small charge of water fed from the tank through the inlet tube. A resistive heating element brings that water to a boil within about a minute, producing steam. An ultrasonic piezo plate vibrates against the water film at a high frequency, shattering the steam into ultra-fine charged droplets — this is what makes the mist "nano-ionic" rather than ordinary hot vapor. An optional ionizer module in the nozzle adds further charge to the stream.
The steam rises through the Nozzle & Steam Outlet, where a spray cone shapes and directs it outward toward the user's face. The microcontroller on the control board manages the heater duty cycle and watches the safety devices.
Because the boiler runs hot and can boil dry as the tank empties, two independent protections sit in the heater circuit. A non-resetting thermal fuse permanently breaks the circuit if the chamber overheats, and a dedicated dry-burn sensor cuts power when it detects the boiler running without water. An indicator LED reports power and fault states. Mains power enters through the Power Cord, and an internal wire harness ties the boiler, board and switch together.
