Electric Scalp Massager Product
Overview
An electric scalp massager kneads the head with a cluster of moving claws to relax muscles, stimulate the scalp and, for many users, simply feel good in the shower. It is a handheld, rechargeable device sealed against water so it can be used with shampoo or on a dry head. The soft silicone tips splay over the scalp and move in small circles, mimicking the kneading of fingertips without the hand fatigue.
The device drives a Massage Node Head of flexible arms and claws from a motor inside the body. A Massage Drive produces the kneading motion, a Control Board runs the motor and modes, a Mode Button switches it, and a Battery Pack powers it. Because it is meant for the shower, a Waterproof Housing seals the electronics and Charge Contacts let it charge without an exposed jack.
How it works
The motion comes from turning rotation into an orbiting wobble. A DC motor in the Massage Drive spins down through a reduction gear and turns an eccentric, which sets a drive plate moving in a small orbit rather than a straight spin. That plate is coupled to the Flexible Arm set, so as it orbits, the arms and their claws sweep in little kneading circles. The arms flex, which lets the silicone tips follow the curve of the head and spread pressure instead of poking, and the soft tips keep it comfortable against the scalp and through hair.
Sealing drives much of the rest of the design. The Waterproof Housing uses gasketed seams and a sealed membrane Mode Button so water cannot reach the battery or board. There is no charging socket; instead Charge Contacts mate magnetically with a dock, keeping the body fully closed. The Control Board runs the small motor at a steady speed, steps through a couple of massage patterns when the button is pressed, and manages charging of the single LiPo cell, lighting an LED to show the current mode and charge state.
