Cable Crossover Machine Product
Overview
A cable crossover machine is a functional trainer built around two independent weight columns and two adjustable pulleys, one on each side of a tall steel gantry. Because the cable can be set at any height and pulled in any direction, a single machine covers chest flyes, lat pulldowns, rows, curls, pressdowns, woodchops and cable kicks without changing the load mechanism. The whole structure stands on the Steel Frame: two Steel Upright Tower towers tied together by a Top Crossmember and anchored to a bolt-together Base Frame that resists the tip-over forces a horizontal cable pull generates. A Multi-Grip Chin-Up Bar spans the towers up top, and Leveling Rubber Foot levelers keep the base flat on uneven floors.
Each side carries a Selectorized Weight Stack: a column of Iron Weight Plate plates riding two guide rods, topped by a Top Plate and selected with a magnetic Weight Selector Pin. The load you feel is set entirely by where that pin goes, so changing weight is a one-second move with no loose plates to handle.
How it works
Pulling a handle draws the Coated Steel Cable over a Pulley Cable Train of grooved sheaves, each spinning on a sealed Ball Bearing so the run stays smooth under load. The cable terminates at the top plate; routing it back over the trolley pulley gives a 2:1 ratio, doubling how far the handle moves for a given stack lift and opening up the full range a flye or pulldown needs. A Snap Swivel at the working end lets attachments rotate freely instead of winding the cable up.
Pulley height is set by the Adjustable Pulley Trolley, a carriage that slides up its tower on bearing rollers and locks at any drilled position with a spring Height Lock Pin. Drop both trolleys low for cable curls, raise them overhead for crossovers, or split them for one-arm work. The user clips on a D-Handle, the tricep Tricep Rope, or the Straight Bar from the attachment set depending on the lift. A Cable Guard Shroud shroud encloses each stack and the pulley path so nothing can be pinched as the weights travel, and rubber Rubber Bumper stops cushion the stack at the top and bottom of its stroke so the plates settle quietly instead of slamming the frame.
