Power Rack

Product

Overview

A power rack is a four-post steel cage that lets a lifter train heavy barbell movements alone and safely. The barbell rests on adjustable catches, and fixed safeties stop the bar if a lift fails, so squats and presses can be taken to failure without a human spotter. Unlike the other machines in this category the rack supplies no resistance of its own, the user loads Olympic plates onto a barbell, but its strength and the precision of its hole pattern are what make heavy training repeatable.

The structure is four numbered Steel Upright posts tied by Steel Cross Member bars and widened by Base Stabilizer Rail rails. The bar is caught on a J-Hook Pair and backed up by a Safety Spotter Arm Pair. A Multi-Grip Pull-Up Bar spans the top, and Weight Plate Storage Peg horns store plates on the frame.

Construction

Each Steel Upright is 3 x 3 inch, 11-gauge steel with a laser-cut Westside hole pattern, tighter 1-inch spacing through the bench and rack zone, and printed hole numbers so a setup can be reproduced exactly. Attachments locate with spring-loaded detent pins and bolt through the holes; the J-Hook Pair and spotter arms carry UHMW plastic liners that protect the barbell knurl.

Beyond the core, the rack accepts bolt-on stations. The Dip Bar Attachment adds parallel handles, the Landmine Attachment pivots a barbell end on a ball-bearing joint for rotational work, and the Pulley Cable Crossover mounts dual pulley columns whose plate-loaded carriages run on ball-bearing rollers up the uprights, converting the static cage into a full cable-resistance trainer.
