Air Purifier Product

Overview

An air purifier draws room air through a stack of filters and returns it cleaned of dust, smoke, pollen, odours, and microbes. This is a tower model: a cylindrical Housing with a perforated Intake Grille wrapping its full circumference, so the unit pulls air in from every direction and exhausts it upward through the Outlet Vent. A door in the base opens for cartridge swaps.

Air first meets the Filter Stack, a cylindrical multi-stage cartridge. The washable Pre-Filter Mesh catches hair and coarse dust, the True HEPA Filter (H13) traps fine particulates down to 0.3 µm, the Activated Carbon Filter adsorbs odours and VOCs, and a final UV-C Module inactivates microbes carried in the airstream.

The unit decides how hard to run from its Sensor Module. A ring of RGB LEDs on the Air-Quality LED Ring colour-codes the current air quality, and the user overrides modes from the Touch Control Panel or the app over the Wi-Fi Module.

How it works

Suction comes from the Blower, a centrifugal fan whose Centrifugal Impeller develops enough static pressure to pull air through the dense HEPA media. It is spun by the EC Fan Motor, a brushless EC motor: its EC Motor Driver Board commutates the windings electronically, so the Control Board can set fan speed by a simple speed command rather than switching mains taps. Backward-curved blades and the Blower Shroud scroll convert blade velocity into the pressure the filter resists.

Auto mode is driven by the Laser PM2.5 Sensor, a laser-scattering counter: the Sensor Aspiration Fan pulls a metered sample past a Laser Diode, particles scatter light onto a Photodiode Detector, and pulse counts are converted to a PM2.5 figure. The VOC / Gas Sensor adds gas and odour readings. When pollution rises, the board ramps the blower and the LED ring shifts colour; when it clears, the fan drops to a near-silent sleep speed.

Over time the media clogs and pressure drop rises. The Filter-Life Sensor tracks runtime and loading to flag a swap, and the front door releases the cartridge without tools. Everything runs off the Power Supply, a switch-mode converter feeding the EC motor bus and the logic rails through the Wiring Harness loom.
