Rack Frame
AssemblyOverview
The rack frame is the structural skeleton that bears the weight of all installed equipment and defines the 42U mounting envelope. Everything else in the cabinet, doors, PDUs, cooling, cabling, attaches to it.
Construction
The backbone is the Welded Steel Frame, a welded assembly of steel uprights and cross members that gives the cabinet its rigidity and 1500 kg static rating. Four 19-inch Mounting Rail rails punched to the EIA-310 pattern run the full height and slide fore-and-aft to match equipment depth; gear fastens to them through Cage Nut nuts snapped into the square holes. A Top Panel caps the frame with brushed cable-entry cutouts for overhead routing. For installation, four Swivel Caster casters let a loaded rack be rolled into position, after which four Leveling Foot feet wind down to take the weight and level the cabinet on an uneven floor.
