Electronic Safe Product
Overview
An electronic safe is a welded steel box with a digital lock that secures cash, documents and small valuables. The user opens it with a PIN typed on a keypad, a stored fingerprint or an RFID card, and a small motor inside throws steel bolts to hold the door shut. If the battery dies or the code is forgotten, a hidden mechanical key retracts the bolts. It sits on a shelf or bolts to the floor, and the whole appeal is keyless daily access backed by a physical override that never depends on power.
How it works
The structure is the Steel Body: a folded and welded steel shell, a thick steel door on two hinges, an intumescent door seal that swells in a fire, and four anchor holes so the safe can be bolted down rather than carried off. The door carries the Locking Mechanism — a boltwork plate with three hardened locking bolts that slide into the frame. A Bolt Drive Motor gearmotor turns a reduction Helical Gear Pair and a drive cam, the cam shifts the bolt carrier, and return springs pull the bolts back when the cam releases.
Entry is handled by the Keypad & Control group. A Digital Keypad reads the PIN, the Fingerprint Sensor Module module matches stored prints, and the RFID/NFC Reader accepts cards and fobs. All three feed the Control Board, whose MCU checks the credential and, on a match, drives the bolt motor through its H-bridge. A buzzer and status LEDs confirm each press, and the Door Position Sensor reed switch tells the board whether the door is actually closed before it relocks.
Power comes from the Battery Compartment, a tray of two 18650 cells with an external 9 V terminal on the front so a dead safe can still be jumped open. When everything electronic fails, the Key Override Lock tumbler lock turns a cam that pulls the boltwork by hand. Inside, the Interior Fit-out adds a removable shelf, felt lining and an LED light that comes on when the door swings open.
