Range / Oven

Overview

A range combines a cooktop and an oven in a single freestanding appliance. The Outer Cabinet & Frame is the outer frame that supports both, with the Induction Cooktop, a ceramic-glass induction surface, set into the top and the Oven Cavity enclosed below. This model is configured as an induction range, though a Gas Burner Module is offered for dual-fuel builds that pair gas burners with the electric oven.

How it works

Induction cooking heats the pan, not the surface. Beneath the glass, copper coils carry a high-frequency alternating current that generates a fluctuating magnetic field; when a ferromagnetic pan sits on a zone, the field induces eddy currents in the pan's base, and the metal's resistance turns those currents directly into heat. The glass stays comparatively cool, which makes the cooktop fast, efficient, and safe to touch away from the pan.

The oven heats by resistive elements, with a rear fan driving true convection so hot air circulates evenly across every rack. The Temperature Sensor Set feeds cavity and probe temperatures to the Control Panel, which modulates the elements to hold the setpoint and runs the pyrolytic self-clean cycle that incinerates residue at high temperature.

During self-clean the Door Lock Motor latches the Oven Door shut until the cavity cools, and the Cooling Fan protects the electronics from the heat. Cookware rests on the Rack & Rail Set, power arrives through the Terminal Block, and the Wire Bundle distributes it. Four Leveling Leg feet square the cabinet to the floor, and a Storage Drawer sits beneath the cavity.
