Bluetooth Speaker

Overview

A Bluetooth speaker is a self-contained wireless audio system that receives a digital stream over a short-range radio link, decodes it, amplifies it, and reproduces it through built-in drivers. This portable model is built around a sealed cylindrical body rated IP67, letting it survive rain, dust, and brief immersion, which makes it suited to outdoor and bathroom use where a mains-powered system cannot go.

The acoustic chain begins at the Antenna, which feeds the Main Board. The mainboard carries the Bluetooth SoC, the digital signal processor, and a Class-D amplifier; it decodes the incoming SBC or AAC stream, applies tuning and dynamic bass management, and drives the Driver Array. The driver array combines full-range drivers and a tweeter with twin passive radiators that extend low-frequency output without the power draw of an active subwoofer.

How it works

Power is held in the Battery Pack, a lithium-polymer pack with an integrated battery-management system that controls charge current, balances cell voltage, and protects against over-discharge. The USB-C Charge Port presents a sealed USB-C connector for charging; a gasketed flap maintains the waterproof rating when the port is closed.

User input arrives through the Control Panel, a sealed membrane of play, volume, and pairing buttons. The MEMS Microphone picks up the user's voice for hands-free calling and voice-assistant pass-through, with the DSP applying echo cancellation. Visual feedback comes from the RGB LED Board, an addressable RGB ring that pulses with playback.

All components mount to an internal Internal Bracing frame that locks the drivers and board against vibration, while the Housing Assembly seals the assembly behind a waterproof acoustic mesh grille. The whole unit reproduces stereo content from a single body, relying on the passive radiators and DSP tuning to deliver perceived bass well below the physical driver size.
