Portable Bluetooth Projector Product
Overview
A portable Bluetooth projector throws a watchable picture from something that fits in one hand. An LED LED Light Engine makes the light, a DMD Imager Module turns it into a frame, and the Projection Lens Assembly projects it onto a wall. A Mainboard decodes the video and runs the apps, a Focus Motor sharpens the image, and a LiPo Cell-based Battery Pack frees it from the wall. The optics, boards and a Speaker pack into a compact Enclosure with a tripod mount.
Two constraints shape it: heat and battery. LED illumination runs cooler and lasts longer than a lamp, which is what lets the Cooling Assembly assembly stay small, and the wireless Mainboard means the only cables you might use are for power or an external source on the Port Board.
How it works
The LED Light Engine runs red, green and blue High-Power LED emitters in fast sequence. A Collimator Lens tightens each beam, a Dichroic Combiner merges the colors onto one path, and a Light Integrator Rod evens out the brightness before the light reaches the imager.
Inside the Imager Module, a TIR Prism folds that light onto the DMD Chip: a grid of microscopic mirrors that each tilt thousands of times a second. Held toward the lens, a mirror sends its pixel of light through the Projection Lens Assembly; tilted away, that pixel goes dark. Because the colors flash in sequence and the mirrors switch in step, your eye blends them into a full-color image. The Compute SoC Module on the mainboard decodes the source and times the color field to the mirror states.
Focus, sound and power finish the picture. The Focus Motor turns the Focus Gear to rack the Lens Assembly groups until the image is sharp at the throw distance. Audio plays through the built-in Speaker or streams over Bluetooth from the Wi-Fi/BT Module. The Battery Pack feeds the LEDs and SoC, while the Blower Motor in the cooling assembly pulls heat off the Heat Pipe and out the Vent Grille so the LEDs hold their output.
